Accounting Assistant

JOB DECRIPTION

  • Recording day to day financial transactions and completing the posting process.
  • Balances general ledger by preparing a trial balance, reconciling entries.
  • Develops system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts, defining bookkeeping policies and procedures.
  • Comply with local state and federal government reporting requirement.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be a graduate of BS Accountancy
  • Strong analytical and planning skills
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Must have at least 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping/disbursements
  • Preferably from a retail industry
  • Must be willing to do overtime and work on Saturdays when needed
