Top five global smartphone brand Vivo is set to add a new smartphone model to its selfie-centric V5 series: the Vivo V5s. On May 19, Friday next week, the V5s will be officially unveiled at SM City North EDSA Annex in Quezon City, amid the presence of Vivo executives and representatives, the local media, and the Filipino consumers in general.
Succeeding the V5, V5 Plus, and the V5 Lite, the latest representation of Vivo’s Perfect Selfie campaign, the V5s highlights its 20-megapixel front camera with F2.0 aperture and selfie softlight for clear, high-resolution images even at low light. The rear side, on the other hand, carries a 13-megapixel camera with F2.2 aperture with an ultra HD mode that can output up to 52-megapixel images.
Conspicuously, the V5s brandishes a 5.5-inch display with Corning Gorilla Glass bordered by a curved body. Beautiful on the outside yet powerful on the inside, the V5s integrates an octa-core processor with 4GB RAM to run Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with Vivo’s very own Funtouch 3.0. The phone also carries a Hi-Fi Music AK 4376 audio chip for clear surround sound whether through a personal audio equipment like earphones and headphones, or the phone’s built-in speakers.
