Vivo pulls out all the stops for the launch of V11 in PHL

Global smartphone brand Vivo gave a glimpse of the worlds beyond when it launched its latest flagship, the V11, at the Shangri-La at The Fort on September 11.
The Vivo V11 is the first V-series with the ultra-sleek In-Display Fingerprint Scanning Technology that empowers users to tap the future. It is the smartphone brand’s follow up to the Vivo V9, which was launched in March.
The reveal of the Vivo V11 was nothing short of extraordinary. The guests were welcomed to the future with a tunnel that transported guests to the middle of the cosmos. Upon arrival, the guests then made their presence known by validating their thumbprint on a life-size version of the Vivo V11.
Dealers, partners, and media friends flocked to the Vivo V11 launch and witnessed how the new smartphone captures the beauty of the universe.

Asia’s Pop Princess and Vivo endorser Julie Anne San Jose kicked off the show with a Jennifer Lopez medley that set the mood of the entire event—fun and full of energy.
VJs Iñigo and Ai ensure the Vivo V11 launch would be a night to remember.
The launch was hosted by another Vivo endorser Iñigo Pascual and his fellow Myx VJ Ai dela Cruz who welcomed the smartphone brand’s executives to the event.

Vice President for Sales Ms. Hazel Bascon, meanwhile, gave a recap of Vivo’s milestones in the Philippines and worldwide. These include the various smartphones released throughout the years—from Vivo V5 Plus with the world’s first Dual Front Camera to the Vivo NEX with the bezel-less Ultra FullView™ Display.
“Ever since Vivo launched into the consumer electronics market back in 2009, the Vivo brand has always been synonymous with cutting-edge technology. We have always found innovative ways to get consumers excited about every new release of a Vivo smartphone,” she said in her speech.
Ms. Bascon also enumerated Vivo’s many partners in the Philippines and worldwide such as FIFA, UAAP, SM Supermalls, Ayala Malls, and the media, among many others.
“Throughout all of these milestones for the year, we are fortunate and grateful to have had your support. So it’s only fitting to have you all here again as we celebrate our latest milestone and welcome the latest addition to the Vivo family of smart phones that will bring us closer to the future,” she said.
The guests were treated to a unique performance featuring a violinist and groups of ballet and techno dancers.
Then, Ms. Bascon and Vice President for PR and Strategy Partnerships Ms. Annie Lim who brought out all the Vivo stars for the V11 launch.
The Vivo V11 launch is a star-studded affair well-attended by the country’s brightest and most promising artists.

Other Vivo endorsers who graced the occasion are Maymay Entrata, Edward Barber, Barbie Forteza, Kisses Delavin, Loisa Andalio, McCoy de Leon, Elisse Joson, Vern Enciso, Maris Racal, Darren Espanto, Ashley Rivera, Kira Balinger, and Chienna Filomeno clad in their futuristic and colorful ensemble that gave a nod to the cosmos.
Following the Vivo endorsers, Product and Sales Trainer Ms. Joma Morales then detailed all the best features of the V11.
“With easier operation and more powerful AI abilities, the V11 is ready to serve you – anytime, anywhere,” she noted.

Some of the key specs that Ms. Morales highlighted in her presentation are the In-Display Fingerprint Scanning Technology, the 19.5:9 Halo FullView™ Display housed in a 6.41” Super AMOLED screen, the
25-megapixel AI Camera and the 12MP+5MP AI Dual Rear Camera with AI Backlight HDR, the Dual-Engine Fast Charging, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660AIE as supported by the smartphone’s 6GB RAM+64GB ROM, and the AI-powered Jovi assistant.
The Vivo V11 and the V11i is available for Php19,999 and P15,999 respectively.
After learning a lot about the Vivo V11, the next question was: how much should every tech enthusiast pay for an incredible smartphone? Ms. Bascon answered the question with the help of the techno dancers. The full power of the Vivo V11, available in Starry Night and Nebula, can be enjoyed for only Php19,999, following Vivo’s promise to make high-technology smartphone available to as many users as possible.
Vivo, moreover, surprised the guests further by announcing that it will release the Vivo V11i, which will only be available for Php15,999.
Before the launch ended, Ms. Lim also gave a few words of gratitude to those who supported Vivo such as dealers and the brand’s partners.
“What you’ve just witnessed is what I consider to be a grand celebration of everything that makes Vivo one of the fastest-rising consumer brands in the Philippines. We celebrated a future of untold possibilities with a new smartphone that promises to be the best when it comes to features and specs: The Vivo 11,” she said.

Vivo endorser and Soul Supreme KZ Tandingan proved her title with a topnotch performance, which we can only be expected from a world-class Filipino talent. She performed her own rendition of Dua Lipa’s “New Rules” and some Eraserheads’ hits “Alapaap,” “Magasin,” and “Ang Huling El Bimbo,” as well as her well-loved version of Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep,” to close the launch in a high note.
Following the grand launch, Vivo also tasked fashion bloggers Vern and Verniece Enciso to give a tour of the V11 experience area. Ashley Rivera, meanwhile, showed off her DJ skills after.
